I’m getting right to it.

• From MOMocrats, read my friend Jaelithe’s take on the outrageous infringment on the right to assemble and freedom of speech and the press up at the RNC.  I’m disgusted by the actions of the St Paul police department.  Watch as they manhandle, then arrest, journalist Amy Goodman of Democracy Now, who will be honored next month as the 2008 recipient of the Communication for Peace award, for “conspiracy to riot.”  Bullshit on all levels.  I’m guessing microphones and high-tech cameras (and the lack of bandannas and rattails) might distinguish legitimate journalists from violent anarchists.  Will hopefully get the inside dirt from a friend who is a chaplain for the St Paul police.
• McCain/Palin=Tigh/Roslin? I’m certain they’d get the cylon vote.
• Um, slightly awkward interview that Time did with McCain.
• Here’s a handy printable calendar of when your favorite shows premiere.  I totally watched Gossip Girl last night.  Chris started watching it with me.  His thoughts, about six minutes in: “Are these supposed to be high schoolers?”  Me “Yup.”  Him “That’s bullshit.” <puts on headphones>  Sorry, buddy, you’re gonna hate the new 90210.
