I keep busy being a writer, teacher, student, liberal, feminist, and all-around loudmouth. I was born and raised in Iowa, but for some reason, thought I wanted to live in a great city (St Louis) in a former slave state. I spend my free time reading, writing, gardening, cooking, bumming around St Louis, going to rock shows, staying elbow deep in homework, hanging out in dive bars, and judging people based on first impressions, then feeling either bad about it or affirmed by it. You may have not asked for my opinion, but you’re going to get it.
